TYDA Doctors Visit the Poor in Po Sen Chey District for General Check-ups

PHNOM PENH: The Vice Chairman of the Board of the Samdech Techo Voluntary Youth Doctor Association (TYDA), Dr. Pech Chanmony, led the first TYDA team visit in 2023 to conduct check-ups and treat general and oral diseases of poor communities living in Sangkat Trapeang Krasang, Por Sen Chey District.

During the visit, Dr. Pech Chanmony relayed that Prime Minister Hun Sen and First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen always pay attention to the health of the people, especially the situation of poor communities after the Covid-19 pandemic, thus have offered free medical services.

She added that TYDA has treated people in the provinces, in different communities, organizations, orphanages, and schools, and stated that TYDA's humanitarian activities were carried out from the hearts of the association's doctors, volunteers, and team members.

Dr. Pech Chanmony also called on the people to register to vote and participate in the upcoming election. She urged for votes to the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), because she believes only Prime Minister Hun Sen, who has led the country to its current state of development and progress, takes people's well-being into consideration.

According to a report from TYDA, the association's team of doctors and volunteers treated nearly 2,000 patients, of which 104 were referred for further treatment under a grant from Prime Minister Hun Sen and First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen.
